August 31st → September 10th - Madeira Birthday Holiday Finally, I have just got home from my final trip of the year - Madeira. Not only was the plan to relax, I also wanted to see the island, so I booked a few tours and excursions. I booked a private sunset boat trip & private charter cruise to see dolphins and whales, both through https://ontales.com/ . I also booked a sunrise tour through https://www.hittheroadmadeira.com/ . Accommodation: https://www.savoysignature.com/ . I booked this accommodation through Easyjet holidays with Full Board (breakfast, lunch & dinner). Transport: I had a private taxi from airport to hotel (& vice versa) included in the holiday cost. For getting around, I was recommended a female taxi driver called Marta who was lovely.  Cost: The holiday package (flights, accommodation & airport transfers cost £3326 (two people). Over the last three years, my family and I had many concerts to go to but because of covid, had to wait til this year (I also bought concert tickets in February). 5 concerts in total in 2 weeks! I experienced - in order - Harry Styles, Queen, Elton John, Billie Eilish & Ed Sheeran !!! I also did the Van Gogh Immersive Experience , Proud Cabaret , Leadenhall Market , Spitalfields Market & Greenwich Market . I stayed at  https://www.hilton.com/ . First time staying at this fairly new hotel. Right in the middle of the city and central to all the venues of the concerts and attractions I wanted to do. I stayed there in a double room with a sofa bed (for when friends stayed too) for the duration of the trip with breakfast included. I got room service on the nights I was too tired to go somewhere for dinner. I went on the tube (which I hated but not as much as my first time), walked, used uber (very safe and secure) & https://www.blacklane.com/en/ taxis for concert nights....

My cousin lives with his wife and kids in Wales. Not only had I not seen them in 3yrs, I’d never been to Wales except camping with school. So during their half term, I went to see them. I had about two days to myself because the others were filled with hiking (!!), shopping, days out and easter egg hunts. I was exhausted! I stayed at this airbnb, https://www.airbnb.co.uk/ . Tiny outbuilding with kitchen, shower room, bed and dining table. Absolutely lovely, definitely recommend. (There is a residential dog too)! M y mum drove me (from Sussex, England) as it was too far and complicated to do my first solo train journey. When I was there, I was within walking distance to my family’s home but when I did take myself out, I used https://www.wrexhamtaxi.co.uk/ taxis

Skiing was AMAZING! I went skiing in France with https://www.accessibledreams.co.uk/ - a group of differently disabled people. I went in 2019 but only for ‘sit-ski’ so this year I challenged myself to try normal skiing and OMG loved it! Hard work though! I went with my dad (which is strange because I got so used to adventuring with my mum) and we stayed in http://www.araucaria-hotel.com/en/ . Twin room with ensuite, breakfast and dinner included in overall costs. Great hotel with nice rooms, big bar (!!), entertainment area and prime location (right on the slopes). Amazing food too.. *Fun fact: We flew from London Heathrow to Geneva not France! I was so excited for this trip & sharing it with lovely people I hadn’t seen since 2019. However, I HATE London Heathrow. Why? Because it is manic and have to wait for ages and luggage takes forever! Flying to Geneva went smoothly but the coach ride was soo long and we didn’t get to the hotel til 10pm. Luckily they kept the buffet open for...

☀️Tuesday 22nd February☀️ 📍Mojacar📍 I suppose most people relax on their days off. Well that didn't happen yesterday.  I walked SO MUCH yesterday and now I don't want to get up. Went to the Sunshine Cafe for lunch, walked all the way to @heladeriablu so treated myself to a waffle, then walked all the way to Imperial Palace for dinner. 🥵😴

☀️Wednesday 16th February☀️ 📍Mojacar📍 After a whole day of work, @mrs_chris_logan took us for dinner and drinks. What a great night! We met at Marcelo's Entre Tapas for dinner then on to Aurora for final drinks. Honestly such a lovely night xx 

☀️Sunday 13th February☀️ 📍Paws Patas 📍 My boy Maine has taken the last 4 weeks of my life to socialise and do basic training with. Him and his 2 brothers were abandoned at @pawspatas when they were only 2 or 3 months old... now 10months old 😍 All three are scared of people and don't trust easily but now look at this one! On a lead and being well behaved... I'm a proud mumma right now and if I didn't have my 4 precious dogs at home, this big boy would be mine 😅 I'm not walking him yet just because a stronger person should until he's used to it etc.  But that's ok

☀️Friday 11th February☀️ 📍Mojacar📍 What a fabulous night! Paws Patas volunteers were taken to a bowling night at Bowling Indalo Mojacar and then dinner at Valery's Bar. I think I've made friendships with this lot that'll last.

☀️Thursday 10th February☀️ 📍La Mela📍 What a fabulous day off! After a very painful couple of days, today was a lovely way to relax. Thanks to @mrs_chris_logan who is lovely enough to keep an eye on me, I started the day with half an hour in a hottub which was very much appreciated and did my neck a favour! I'm now staying with my good family friends who are incredibly talented @lamelaceramicaspain . I tried pottery with them 2 years ago and haven't stayed with enough time to do it since. So lucky to do it again! Good to have people nearby who care.... how I'll have the same sort of thing internationally I don't know... stay for longer periods? ☀️Monday 7th February☀️ 📍Paws Patas Animal Shelter📍 Just proof that I'm not on holiday and am actually working 6 days a week! Picking up 💩, sweeping concrete areas, dog meal making and don't forget the emotional drain with working and training dogs who don't trust humans yet. So lucky 😅

☀️Wednesday 2nd February☀️ 📍Mojacar Playa📍 On my day off, I went into Mojacar for the day. Started with breakfast at Maskos in the Parque Commercial, went window shopping which bored me so I walked to the beach and then went for lunch with a friend. Blue skies, calm sea and just great warm weather. I also had to go food shopping!

What a day!!! Left home at 2.55am for a 6.15am flight to Almeria which landed at 10.00am. Went straight to food shopping and arrived at @pawspatas in the afternoon. They are lovely and threw me in the deep end 😅 so many cats and dogs that are amazing but need homes😪

Hello everyone, I booked my flight to Spain- Jan 15th!!! Woohoo can't come soon enough!!! So excited as you can probably imagine from my excessive use of exclamation marks 😅!!!!!!!
